A trip to London

Finally!!!!! I have finally blogged since a month ago!!!!!! I have been super-duper busy travelling that I haven't had the time to blog about it all, everything is going so fast, that I have maybe an odd day in 2 weeks to rest... and usually that day I am too tired to blog, and just want to rest!
I am back now! Still busy, but I will make sure I give myself plenty of time to keep a constant flow of lovely blogs to you all. So since my last blog on foundations... I have travelled to Marbella again, Manchester and London! I also had other commitments to work for my parents for 2 weeks non-stop, which really did drain the living daylight out of me...

Ok. So I am going to talk about my visit to London.
Best. Time. Ever.
I have fallen in love with the place and wish to move down there as soon as possible!
I am going to split the blog into two parts, this first part will primarily talk about a few things I got up to with with my friend Jessica and the second part of my blog, which I will write..soon..will talk about my outfits and maybe a couple of little other things I got up to!

One thing I don't like about London is using the tube! Especially when it's molten hot outside and you're on the central line drowning of sweat... yum.

I love desserts! I chose Haagan Daaz crepes here but they also do new dipping stuff and macaroons... Mmm, got to go back and try them all....

Korean BBQ.

Watching the World Cup 2014 Final.

Selfie with the London Eye! I was being a tourist the second day. I still need to visit Madame Tussauds and the London Dungeon. London has a new theatre show called 'Ghost stories' and apparently it's extremely scary..
My friend won't go with me.... Sigh. Maybe next time.

London Zoo on the third day! It was a very fun day out but very very tiring.. All the animals were rather sleepy in the sun so there wasn't much to see. We made time for the shows that were timetabled and got the chance to see some killer birds and a tiger eating. Pretty cool! I was sad that they didn't have elephants though. The giraffes made up for it!

There is an awesome butterfly tent that lets you walk through and there are absolutely hundreds of beautiful and different coloured butterflies dancing around and some actually land on you! Unfortunately non stayed long enough for me to get a snap with. If you are scared of insects then I wouldn't advise you walk through it. Jess was petrified....

Oh and inside the zoo there is a boat service that takes you into Camden Locks! It's a cute experience and it was definitely the best idea we had all day seeing as our legs were so tired from walking all day.

Sushi buffet that night also. Awesome!

I love London so much that I am going back next month. I think every one should go be a tourist for a day, eat all the food you can and shop till you drop! The only negative thing about London will always be the price for everything. It has definitely taken a dint out of my bank account, in fact it hasn't even taken a dint out of it... It's all gone!

Foundation reviews: NARS Sheer Matte/Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser/Estee Lauder Double Wear/Diorskin Forever

Hi guysss! So I have 4 foundations to review today: NARS Sheer Matte Foundation, Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser, Diorskin Forever Foundation and Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation.

My skin type is combination, where my T-zone is prone to get oily, so choosing the right foundation is important as it has to match your skin. I also advise you to use a face primer first before applying any make up as the primer preps the face and creates a smooth canvas to work on. Having recently been on holiday I have a slight tan so some of the foundations is too light on my skin (you will see yourself!)

First up is NARS Sheer Matte Foundation in FIJI 'light 5' - Light with yellow undertone.

I like NARS foundation's consistency and when poured out onto my hand it just settles like a blob. (Really sunburnt hand)
It looks so light on my face but that's because it's not in the right colour! So the NARS sheer matte gives full coverage but has a drying effect so this foundation may be better suited for people who is of oily skin type. At £31 for 30ml I personally wouldn't go for it again as it does not suit my skin but I won't take away the fact that NARS do a perfect 'matte' foundation and other matte products.

This is Laura Mercier's tinted moisturiser with SPF 20 in the shade 'NUDE.'
So I really like the finish with the tinted moisturiser as it is a light-weight formula and gives a natural look. As it is not an actual foundation I can keep applying more layers of the moisturiser yet it will still feel light and clean on the skin. At £34  for 50ml I think it is a good investment for a summer product that can be worn in replacement for your foundation when the weather is hot. One small problem with the moisturiser is that the coverage is light so it will not hide any blemishes or spots so you will need to use extra concealer!

This is Estée Lauder double wear foundation in 'PURE BEIGE' SPF 10.

So it comes out really runny on the hand so be careful when pouring the product out!

Estée Lauder double wear stays true it's words and gives a thick coverage 'double wear' and 'stays in place' throughout the day.  From the photo you can gather the idea that the foundation gives an airbrushed look and can appear quite cakey with more than one layer - so apply it to your own preference. At £28.50 for 30ml it is the cheapest one out of the 4 products and is a decent priced foundation considering other  upper market products. However I wouldn't buy this product again as I don't personally like the thick consistency upon application and this foundation is also the worst smelling out of the foundations (some say it smells like paint).
Lastly, Diorskin Forever foundation in SAND 031 SPF 25.

This is my favourite foundation by far and will keep buying this product until I find better! Diorskin forever promises 'flawless perfection' and I completely agree. It gives a medium coverage and a semi-matte look which is ideal for my combination skin because I have the problem of oiliness and dryness. It is £32 for a 30ml and have I mentioned that it smells like pretty perfume on the face. Amazing! It comes with a pump for easy application straight on the face or on your hand, plus it keeps things clean. I have nothing bad to say about this product - it's my holy grail foundation. I recommend to every one!

Visit to Marbella

Ok so I am going to keep this short and sweet.
I went to Marbella for 4 nights and it was probably one of the best holidays I've been on.
I loved it that much, I am booking to go again for a weekend at the end of July/August time.

So I stayed in central Marbella, and it was more for families and locals, so if you're deciding to go to Marbella, make sure you get an accommodation in Puerto Banus (I took the taxi everyday)
Puerto Banus is home to Ocean Beach Club, Sala Beach Club, Sisu Boutique Hotel etc etc.
That's where you want to go for beach fun/pool parties/bars/clubs. Met some amazing people out there and have kept in touch - the people there are very nice! 10/10 for everything.

Nikki Beach is on the opposite end of Puerto Banus but it has a beautiful beach - worth a trip!

Tanning in Nikki Beach Club. The place is quite expensive at 20 a sunbed and they do not let you bring in your own food or drinks. 9 for a bottle of water for me! I definitely did not bring enough money with to Marbella (so I advise every one who is planning to go to Marbs to bring lots and lots and lots of money with them ha!)

A night out in Tibu. Ok, so the playsuit from Missguided is a little busty for my liking and all night I was covering it up with my long hair! Any girls that fancy getting their cleavage out - this is a great outfit for it.

The prints and colours make it an ideal holiday outfit.

Kimono from Missguided. perfect outfit for a pool or beach party - team it with wedges for the Marbella classy look.

Be adventurous and mix and match patterns - don't be afraid to match 3 separate patterns (as long as you don't go over board with colour differences!)

Bright neon colours on holiday is a must. The dress is a great fit and gives a cute look!
I am in love with this dress and if you want a perfect holiday dress - this is it!! Missguided by the way.
Missguided  has got summer season wear perfecto. Nice clothes at an affordable price, you can not go wrong!

Burnt my shoulders....hehe

The kimono can also be worn as a casual outer wear on a day out. Looks good with anything!

Waiting for the bus to go home. Even though I am smiling in the photo, I am actually very sad leaving Marbella!

Saw some awesome sand art.

See how beautiful the place is. I will come back for you Marbella!

If you liked any clothes I wore in this blog and are wondering where I bought them from then check out my earlier blog post Holiday Fun which has the information on the outfits I wore.
(p.s. some photos are a bit dark as I shall blame my friend and her fat finger being in the way haha!)
